The use of sensors in these areas is widespread and versatile. For example, measurement technology can be found in vehicle manufacturing (electric monorail systems), in lifeboats, in agriculture (even distribution of fertilizers, seeds, irrigation), on winter service vehicles and for axle counting and track testing in rail transport. Particularly noteworthy here is our heart point sensor, which was developed and produced for an Austrian customer in 2006. It signals the wear of the rail material in good time and thus prevents trains from derailing.
