Thanks to its specific beam shape and threaded holes, it can be mounted easily and accurately in mechanical engineering. The force is applied via a further threaded hole in order to achieve optimum measurement.

To ensure a long service life, the application area for the strain gauges is moulded with a highly elastic compound. This protects the strain gauge from mechanical and chemical damage so that you can rely on precise measurements. The strain gauge full bridges in the measuring chamber record the deformation exerted on the beam by shear forces. Our shear beams are characterised by an excellent bridge balance, which is adjusted to approx. ±0.01 mV/V in the unloaded state. This provides you with accurate and reliable measurement data for your applications. For easy integration, our shear beams are designed for direct connection to a measuring amplifier. Another advantage is the separate connection of the shield of the supply cable from the surface of the force transducer. This minimises potential interference and ensures precise and reliable signal transmission.
