A key feature of our shear load washer is its plastic cover, which optimally protects the application area from chemical and mechanical loads with a highly elastic mass. The shear load disc works with strain gauge full bridges that measure the deformation caused by compressive forces in the measuring chamber. We have calibrated the bridge balance in the unloaded state to approx. ±0.01 mV/V in order to provide you with the most accurate measurement results. Our shear load discs are designed for direct connection to control systems or comparator circuits. The shield of the supply cable is deliberately not connected to the surface of the force transducer to prevent any interference.
