Installation is extremely simple: the transducer is simply screwed onto a flat material surface. This eliminates the need for time-consuming gluing and adjustment of strain gauges. Thanks to its design, you can easily use the force transducer for force monitoring and strain measurement on components made of steel and aluminium. The signal, the temperature behaviour and the transmission factor naturally depend on the specific geometry and material pairing between the transducer and the component.

To achieve optimum results, we recommend calibrating the transducer for the first time under typical ambient conditions by loading the component with an unknown force.

The application area in which the strain gauges are located is protected with a highly elastic compound that protects them from chemical and mechanical stresses. A strain gauge full bridge precisely records the deformation of the force transducer when pressure is applied. Our transducers are designed for connection to an amplifier in order to optimise the use of the recorded data. In addition, the shield of the supply cable is not connected to the surface of the force transducer, which ensures reliable and interference-free measurement.
