Various sensors are essential on tanker and pellet vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation. Our product range for this application includes:
Level sensor – continuously monitors the fill level of tanks and containers for low-viscosity petroleum products such as petrol, heating oil, diesel or kerosene.
Residual level sensor – optically detects whether a specific fill level has been reached and is used to monitor fuel consumption, detect theft and control test processes.
Temperature sensor – measures and monitors the temperature of the tank contents.
Namur reed sensor – acts as a non-contact proximity switch to monitor the status of closures, flaps and doors, whilst simultaneously detecting cable breaks, short circuits, unauthorised access or tampering.
These sensors provide important data for vehicle control and monitoring and help ensure that tankers and pellet vehicles can be operated safely, efficiently and in an environmentally friendly manner. Most of our sensors are designed for use in ATEX Zone 1 and are therefore particularly suitable for safety-critical applications in potentially explosive atmospheres.
