Sensors for tanker vehicles

Various sensors are crucial on tankers and pellet lorries to ensure safe and efficient operation. Here are some important sensors intended for measurements in tank and pellet lorries:

Level sensor:

  • Detecting and monitoring the fill level of tanks, containers and silos

Residual quantity sensor:

  • Optical fill level detection
  • Monitoring and securing fuel consumption and theft detection
  • Monitoring and control of test processes

Temperature sensor:

  • Measurement and monitoring of the temperature in tanks, containers and silos

Reed sensor:

  • Condition monitoring of closures, flaps and doors or other moving parts in tankers
  • Namur - detection of cable breakage and short circuit
  • Detects unauthorised access or tampering

These sensors help to ensure that tankers and pellet lorries can be operated safely, efficiently and in an environmentally friendly manner. They provide important data for vehicle control and monitoring, thus enabling optimum utilisation of resources. Most of our sensors are designed for use in ATEX zone 1 and are therefore particularly suitable for safety-critical applications in potentially explosive environments.
