Our load monitoring systems continuously measure the forces at connected sensors and reliably shut down cranes, hoists or other equipment as soon as a defined load limit is exceeded.
Analogue load monitoring
These devices function as robust limit switches for sensors with current or measuring bridge outputs. Switching thresholds are set directly on the device via potentiometers or DIP switches; if the limit is exceeded, the associated relays switch off reliably. An integrated cable break detection system ensures that the system reacts safely even in the event of a sensor fault.
Digital load monitoring
These microcontroller-based systems evaluate the measured values from several sensors – either separately or as a total load – and offer comprehensive self-test and diagnostic functions. Configuration, firmware updates and measurement logging can be carried out via optional interfaces such as RS232, USB or SD card; a Bluetooth module also allows several devices to be networked for combined load summation if required.
