Fill level sensors

We offer two complementary solutions for level measurement: our level sensor uses capacitive technology to continuously measure the exact level of low-viscosity mineral oil products such as petrol, heating oil, diesel or kerosene. Our residual level sensor, on the other hand, operates as an optical limit switch: it reliably detects whether a specific level has been reached – for example, using a prism and infrared light, the reflection of which is interrupted upon contact with liquid – and is specifically designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Both sensors are used, amongst other things, in tankers and stationary tanks: the level sensor for continuous level monitoring, and the residual quantity sensor for overfill protection, as well as for monitoring fuel consumption and detecting theft.
