VELOMAT was founded in Brauna in 1990 and has been based in Kamenz, near Dresden, since 1999. Since then, we have been developing, manufacturing and distributing sensors and measurement electronics – complemented by software, cable assembly and calibration.

Rather than supplying off-the-shelf standard products, we work with our customers to develop bespoke solutions. Since 1990, this experience has been embedded in every product: from the initial idea to the finished series, we guide you through the entire process.

And just like our products, the people who make them are not mass-produced. Our 40-strong team consists of experienced engineers and technicians who bring their expertise and passion for electronics to every project. Many of our production steps have been replaced by modern technology over time. Nevertheless, we rely on manual work for particularly important stages of our manufacturing process. Our products are thus assembled, glued, soldered and encapsulated with a keen eye, a steady hand and a great deal of finesse – a level of precision that cannot be automated.
