Whether on a rotating shaft or at a fixed measuring point: wherever forces act on a pivot point via a lever arm, our torque sensors provide precise measurements in newton-metres – for example, for test benches, drives or machine monitoring.
Rotating measurement points
If the measurement point itself is rotating – for example, on a shaft or a drive – our rotating torque sensor detects the deformation of an integrated elastic element via a strain gauge (SG) and converts it into a precise electrical signal. Thanks to its short axial length, it is suitable for both fixed and flying mounting, at speeds of up to 10,000 rpm.
Fixed measuring points
If the measuring point does not move, our reactive torque sensor is used – for example, to measure reaction torques. The direct, mechanical design makes measurement simple and reliable.
