Our rope force transducer is used in various areas such as crane and lifting technology as well as conveyor and lift technology. It enables indirect load measurement on ropes and at the same time provides protection against overloading and warning of a no-load fall by means of analysable signals.

Installation of the sensor is extremely simple: it is securely fastened to the rope with a central clamp, while two rollers guide the rope loosely. This ensures optimum measuring accuracy and reliability. In addition, the application area of our strain gauges is moulded with a highly elastic compound, effectively protecting it from mechanical and chemical damage.

The signal, the temperature behaviour and the transmission factor are of course dependent on the specific geometry and material pairing between the transducer and the component. To achieve optimum results, we recommend calibrating the transducer for the first time under typical ambient conditions by applying an unknown force to the component.

Thanks to our innovative strain gauge full bridge, the cable force transducer generates a precise signal in mV/V, depending on the cable type and the cable force, when the cable is tensioned. This gives you an exact measurement and allows you to make informed decisions. In addition, the shield of the supply cable is not connected to the surface of the rope force transducer, which ensures interference-free measurement.
